Schedule one day in advance: log in, click 'Schedule Inspection' in the left column, enter the 9-digit permit number beginning with 'BS'; the project address will auto-populate. Can also call (818) 238-5220 between 7:00–7:45 AM the morning of the inspection to confirm a time window. Solar permits for residential rooftop installs up to 38.4 kW issued instantly via Symbium (city partnership), then inspections scheduled through BOP. Building inspector office hours: M–F 7:00–8:00 AM and 3:00–3:30 PM. Permit counter at 150 N. Third Street, Burbank CA 91502: M–Th 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, Fri 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (closed noon–1:00 PM).
