Marysville is an incorporated city inside Yuba County and is not part of the county's building department. The fire-department annexation is a genuine, very recent (7/1/2026) jurisdictional change confirmed on the city's own site; Linda Fire Protection District's own homepage has not yet been updated to reflect it, which is itself a finding (source lag, not evidence against the merger).
