Email Manny.Rodriguez@willdan.com to schedule inspections. Include job address, permit number, type of inspection, and requested day. Next-day inspection requests must be submitted before 3:00 PM. Inspections available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. City contracts building & safety services to Willdan Engineering. For solar projects with an Energy Storage System (ESS), also contact LA County Fire Department (Fire Prevention Division, Carson office) for fire code compliance inspection in addition to the city building inspection. SolarAPP+ is offered for qualifying residential roof-mounted PV systems — failure to have an approved SolarAPP+ permit on site will result in a failed inspection and possible reinspection fee.
