The same paragraph appears verbatim in the April 2025 revision hosted by the Fire Marshal, so it is not a one-off. The same document states 'Tarrant County does not issue Building Permits or Certificates of Occupancy for residential homes' and 'Tarrant County does not have the authority to perform building inspections or charge inspection fees.' The Engineering Services permits page lists eight permit types and neither building nor electrical is among them.
