204-01 Caution Photovoltaic System Circuit Breaker Is Backfed Label

Solar PV breaker sign with a red background and white letters (4″ x 2″), made in the USA. The sign reads: ‘CAUTION: PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM CIRCUIT BREAKER IS BACKFED’. It marks the backfed overcurrent device at the point of interconnection, so anyone opening the panel knows the breaker is energised from the array as well as from the utility. Commonly required by AHJs and utility interconnection handbooks; it is not itself a marking prescribed by the NEC. Available as a label and as a placard.
