Solar PV Line Diagrams — Permanent Single-Line Display at the Panel
A solar PV line diagram placard displays the electrical single-line diagram from your AHJ-approved solar planset as a permanent label mounted at the main panel or service entrance. Many AHJs require a permanent single-line diagram at the point of interconnection so that the system configuration is accessible to future inspection, service, and emergency personnel without referencing a separate document.
Submit your planset or single-line diagram PDF at checkout and we will produce the placard from your approved artwork. Made on Rowmark UltraGrave acrylic, sized to fit cleanly on the side of a standard panel enclosure or service entrance cover.

About Solar PV Placards
Solar PV placards identify the presence and location of the solar system to utility workers, inspectors, and first responders. Unlike adhesive labels, placards are typically mounted to equipment enclosures or exterior walls and must withstand outdoor exposure for the life of the system.
All Planset Signs placards are made with Rowmark UltraGrave acrylic — 8-year UV-stable material with engineer-grade outdoor backing adhesive. All materials and production are USA-based.
What You'll Need for a Typical Install
- Solar PV system placard at utility meter
- Backfeed breaker placard at main panel
- AC disconnect placard at all disconnecting means
- Site map placard if required by AHJ
- Fire department access placard for rooftop systems
- LADWP co-gen placard if in LADWP service territory
- Single-line diagram placard if AHJ requires it
