NEC 2023 705.20(7) requires that if a source disconnect’s line and load terminals can be energized when open, a permanent warning label is mandatory: "WARNING ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD TERMINALS ON THE LINE AND LOAD SIDES MAY BE ENERGIZED IN THE OPEN POSITION."
